I haven’t read a thriller in so long but my friend recommended this one and I’m so glad she did because it reminded me how much I love a good thriller. This really hooked me in and I had loads of heart beating fast, omg! moments which is exactly what I want when I’m reading a thriller. It dragged a little in the middle but towards the end I was flipping those pages as fast as possible because I just HAD to find out what was going to happen.
I adored all of these characters and their stories. The author did such a good job of making you fall for each person but also keeping you on the edge of your seat, never quite feeling like you could trust anyone and I love that.
I will say that although it totally hooked me in and had me glued to the pages, the ending was a real let down and is the reason this one didn’t get a full five stars. It felt so anti-climatic and I wish there had been more of a twist.
