Cutest Small Town Romance

Chance encounter with a homeswap deal turns into a happily ever after.

As short as this story is, the author made sure we could feel the chemistry, the angst, the longing, and the desire. I felt the saddness, the joy, the excitement, and the moments of desire.

Very well written.

4 ⭐️ rounded up to 4 on goodreads!!!

this is legit super similar to the movie the holiday & when I noticed the similarities I was like “okay yes sign ya girl up!” but wow I wasn’t expecting to love it so much.

this book starts off with Aera (ceo of a fashion company in LA) realizing she needs a break & a change, so she decides a vacation may do the trick, she finds a house swap add for a cute cottage in Oregon described as a Christmas Movie Channel must visit, so they decide to swap homes for the holidays. Aera wasn’t expecting tall, dark haired & handsome brother of her home swap friend. what starts as a one night stand quickly blossoms into more than they realize they are ready to part with ..

it definitely is incredibly similar to the movie the holiday, but there are some differences & I loved the entire vibe of this book. it gave me the warm & fuzzies I needed, I only wished that maybe it was a bit longer & I got to know the characters more.

HORRIBLE.
I think she wanted to write a cute short love story and she managed to write one of the worst pieces of literature ever written.
