Short version: WAIT WAIT WAIT WHAT. RICHARD WHAT, SMITE WHAT, IS WHAT? Also, how is it that wee Eton!era Richard Dalrymple has broken my heart so? A great companion piece to Unveiled.

This is a very short story/scene between Richard Dalrymple and Smite Turner when they are boys at Eton. The conversation that occurs is one that will affect the both of them for years to come. It deals with the falling out the two once good friends had and the reasons for it. While it's very short, I liked this glimpse into their pasts. Richard, who's always been a bit of an ass, is still an ass but you feel a little sorry for him. Smite actually comes off a little worse in this as he seems somewhat uncaring and ruthless, though he has his reasons. Set before Unveiled but should be read after. A nice little read for fans of the series and something to tide you over while you wait for Milan's next book. :)

I finally got [b:Unveiled|8663392|Unveiled (Turner, #1)|Courtney Milan|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1289749528s/8663392.jpg|13534887] read so I was able to read this little prequel. As stated in the summary it is best to read this after [b:Unveiled|8663392|Unveiled (Turner, #1)|Courtney Milan|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1289749528s/8663392.jpg|13534887]. Short little story that just expands on the full length story.
Made me definitely want to read more into these infamous Turners.

This just made me sad :( it's a good addition to the backstory but it's still sad

A really short scene between Smite and Richard.
Ternyata mereka lahir di hari yang sama. Di sini ada rahasia Richard yang membuat dirinya dan Smite selalu kayak orang bermusuhan tiap kali ketemu :)

A tantalising look into the tensions between Smite Turner and Richard Dalrymple.
