She’s been out of this world for six years, but I can still see the steel of a mafia princess in her. She was never raised to be a damsel in distress.

This book seriously pleasantly surprised me. The vibes were immaculate, if you will. I was a little hesitant, because book covers with people on them always make me feel a little wary - but this book definitely broke that stereotype for me.

I'm so happy that there are 2 more books in this series and that they're all out already so I won't be left on any cliffhangers! (thank god for KU) This is a why-choose mafia romance and hoooooooly shit the tension is just amazing. I'm in love with all four of these men <3

Imagine a red wedding, super bloody, your father gets shot in front of you and you get shot.
What would your first thoughts be after getting kidnapped and slowly bleeding out?
Obviously how the twins, the kidnapper, share everything, including you.
So FMC has naughty thoughts in the back of a car, after her red bloody wedding. But her kidnapper as well! Let's marvel about her soft skin before making sure she doesn't bleed out.
Short while later FMC is tied to a bed, super weak from blood loss and obviously one of the kidnappers tries to do the dirty with her. Not like she hasn't been fantasizing about it since she woke up. And then another one fingers her to punish someone? She just got shot.
Girl your father just got killed. You haven't even asked if your fiancée survived. And all you think about is fucking.

This reads like cheap porn. If I want a story that makes zero sense and doesn't even try, I watch actual porn. At least there the dialogues aren't this stupid.

I don’t read a lot of captor captee romances so this was a nice change up from what I’m used to. I agree with some of the comments that Grace isn’t the strongest female lead but there’s enough there that it has me intrigued enough to see what happens. I enjoyed seeing the battle in her head over who to trust and I’m curious to see what happens with the other group at the wedding. Ciro is 100% the reason why I want to keep consuming every part of this series. His past along with getting to read from his perspective is so good. I’m also invested in the other guys enough to want to see what this RH can develop into. With how Lucas and Zaid reacted at the end, I’m definitely looking forward to book 2.

So you watch your father (and possibly your fiance) get gunned down and killed in front of your eyes at your own wedding, then you get abducted by your former friends/possible lovers who very clearly hate you now and your reaction upon waking up is to ... try to fuck them one by one? Not try to kill them or be so uncooperative that they have to resort to more drastic methods to get information our of you or genuinely try to escape whenever you can but instead pathetically attempt to "escape" before being distracted by your kidnappers to the point of screwing them with no regard for anything else? Especially considering that she--at that point--thought that these were the men who were responsible for the mass slaughter (of her father!!!! who she didn't hate!!!! and possibly her fiance!!!) at her wedding (!!!) Am I supposed to buy that this is someone who grew up in the mafia and had a hard time adjusting to normal life because she didn't really mind her old one? Really?

Let me just not think about how she just ... forgot that she watched her father die in front of her because she was more interested in four dicks because. Nope.

Not that the men were any better. Oh they hate her but oh they crave her but oh how they can't stand her and her family but oh look at her breasts and her hips and how she looks tied up but oh she's the enemy JFC shut the fuck up. How she became the most hated enemy because of whatever her dad did when she was sixteen is beyond me. Nothing about what they were doing read like hate sex, it read more like people-who-didn't-want-to-share sex and really, shouldn't they have cared more about whoever the traitor was within their own organisation instead of holding a (should-have-been)traumatised person responsible for whatever her father did years ago? No, because why should logic ever apply here.

Whatever, they all suck and they're all boring, they probably deserve each other.

I had high hopes for this and it’s been in my library for a while…. I didn’t hate it and I didn’t love it. Will probably start the second book just to see what happens
