Perfect ending for a fantastic series!

Fatal Felons by Elle Thorpe is the third and final book in the Saint View Prison Series.

The book picks up where the second one ended. Liam, Rowe, and Mae set out to help Heath any way they can even if it means a prison break
While Heath tries to deal with his impending doom, the rest of the gang struggle with their own set of problems. Family secrets are revealed, possible murder suspects come to light, and a terror that threatens a family member. This book truly had it all. It was fast paced, dark, sexy as hell, and held my attention to the very end.
What I liked most is the relationships between this forgy. The closeness and bonds they formed and the way they stuck together regardless of what was going on in their lives. They just made it work

A definite recommend from me

Ugh this book was so good! It had lots of romance with a side of a good mystery/thriller plot as well as developed characters. It was entertaining, had some nice spicy scenes and was just a well rounded why-choose romance.

I was worried it would feel rushed with all the subplots that were left from the last book but somehow it didn’t feel rushed at all. All the lose ends were tied up nicely on top of some nice side character moments sprinkled in. I really liked the balance between the mystery plot and the character development. When reading romance, I typically like at least a 60/40 with romance over plot as I usually don’t have patience for boring plots with OTT endings but I was just as excited reading the mystery plot as I was reading about the MCs relationship development. It didn’t take over the story but complemented it very nicely. I found the ending also wasn’t too OTT and didn’t feel like it was in there just for a shock factor.

The character plot aspect of the book is also so good! I liked every MC and really enjoyed seeing their relationships which each other develop individually. I loved reading Heath and Liam’s platonic dynamic develop into a different kind of family relationship. Somehow it all worked without feeling like they were missing something or someone was left out.

This series is a new favourite of mine. I literally don’t have any complaints about it! Also, the dark romance side of my brain wants book about Vincent! I’m sorry, I just I loved him.

This is the third and final book in the Saint View prison series. This one went a little off the rails for me. A lot of this book was dedicated to Rowe trying to get custody of his stepson that he had practically abandoned for the last four years. Maybe it was me, but I didn’t like the whole plot line. I was much more interested in finding Jayela’s killer and exonerating Heath. This plot line took some twists and turns and ended up being more entertaining.
Mae of course gets all her men in the end. Along with a surprise pregnancy!

What a journey!! There were so many twists and turns for Mae and Rowe, Liam, and Heath. They couldn’t catch a break and it hurt to see them so broken. But they were able to spend quality time together and emerge stronger.

Some plot lines felt a bit unnecessary, and I feel like this could’ve been a duet or even condensed into one book. But the thrill of wanting to find out who the murder was pushed me to finish this in one day so it wasn’t too bad. The big reveal was unexpected and worth the ride.

Well this went downhill fast. 250 pages of waiting for something interesting to happen and nothing moving in the main plot is not my definition of a good time. Should have been a duolidgy.

Also, I hate the “oh I can’t have kids” “surprise you’re pregnant!” trope. Don’t do that.

I read the three books back to back and I'm thinking that was not the best idea. I was honestly getting bored and glad that its over. But still enjoyable.
