I just loved this book!! Is it a literary masterpiece? No! But the holiday vibes are immaculate. Was it realistic that Paxton just had no income and just worked on a secret project for his man? Probably not. A little cringe to bone with their kids next door...but the rest was so cute. I love a single dad romance. This book was low angst and just sweet and spicy. Cozy vibes. Grown men who communicate. Mental health rep. I loved both Paxton and Baxter so much! Nathan and Becca were super cute. I plan to read more from this author!!

Oh this was cute!
First and foremost these MCs were the absolute most precious things on this planet and I just loved them and wished the world for them. I also appreciated how REALISTIC these characters and their problems were, throughout most of the book I felt connected to them (Baxter especially) because J could completely relate to how they felt. The anxiety representation was incredibly well written and relatable AF, as was that feeling of losing your identity by being a parent. Like I said, real and relatable AF. I had a few issues with the language being a little cringey around times, but my absolute love and adoration for Baxter and Paxton ran deep!

Awww what a perfect Christmas read im so glad I read it. It was so sweet. Baxter and Payton were great. I just love that once they get past the initial hiccup they're truly there for one another. Becca and Nathan are fantastic kids and I love their relationships with their dads. Baxter truly taking steps to heal and find who he is past surviving oh I love him. Payton who became more vulnerable through knowing kindness again wow I sure do love them.

this book made me understand sex repulsed people, because what the fuck was that. the smut made me viscerally uncomfortable and that never happens?? also there was barely any dialogue, characters were FLAT and the end speeches made me want to shrivel up and die from second hand embarrassment
