Such a great solid conclusion to the Little Bridge Island series. I am so glad that we got a couple of mentions in this book about the other characters from the series.
In No Words, we meet children's book author Jo Wright who comes to Little Bridge Island for their first book festival, sponsored mostly by Jo's mortal enemy and fellow author Will Price. However, Jo is offered a very large stipend to attend, and she cannot refuse the money.
I think the hate/love trope has to be my favorite of all time out of the romance genre. I love when Jo starts thinking about Will's forearms and how tan he looks... then that gets followed up by her yelling at herself to keep it together. I do appreciate how much Will tries to apologize for what he did to make Jo hate him so much (at least three separate times). Coupled with the origin of the book festival, it was hard to not root for Will in the first three chapters.
I think the Little Bridge Island series trended upwards for me. I don't know if it's because I listened to the majority of the first one and read the last two mostly in print? I didn't feel the same connection with the first couple that I did with the last two. I am really glad that I finished the series.
