Gorillan är ny, men annars är det här en klassisk WWII-historia. Eller barn-och-sorg-historia. Fint så, men jag hade nog hoppats att det skulle vara lite mer speciellt. Det finns en distans till karaktärerna som aldrig riktigt lossar, även om ramberättelsen håller ihop som den ska - och slutar som den bör!

I can't fault this novel at all. It's a stunning feat. Definitely one I will read aloud to a class.

It was good at the very start but by page 100 is got really slow and I was slugging along to finish.
