This is the book on creativity that I've been waiting for. It covers so many topics so quickly, and yet each topic feels complete and not rushed. This is a book that will sit on my shelf and be read multiple times. Highly recommended.

It’s not groundbreaking, new information but I like the way it’s presented. It’s fun. It’s whimsical. And I like how the author called himself out when talking about privilege, he does say it’s hard to do the thing when life has so many struggles and preventing you from doing the thing. So I did appreciate that.

I've been in a bit of a creative slump lately and decided to pick up this fun little book in hopes of gaining some inspiration for my work. I seem to consistently avoid starting projects in fear that my work won't be original or worthwhile enough- so I wait for the best ideas to come to me. Well, no idea has been good enough for me to take action and create. My outlook and approach to creativity changed in the hour it took for me to finish this book. While this is certainly not the most profound book I've read, it presents the advice in a forward, genuine way, which is exactly what we need when we are struggling to come up with great ideas. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves to create.
