The Bachelor is the 5th book in the Dalton Family series by Marni Mann and I absolutely loved it! Each book in this series features a different member of the Dalton family, so they can be read as standalones. I definitely recommend reading all of them though as this series is so good and has easily become one of my all-time favorites!

Camden and Oaklyn’s story drew me in from the first page and I was immediately hooked! I didn’t want to put this one down and wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for real life getting in the way! Camden and Oakly were sexy and I loved the heat and chemistry between them. It was also their undeniable connection that I loved getting more of. These two had always been drawn to one another, but due to Camden’s sister/Oaklyn’s best friend Hannah, there was always the element of it being forbidden. Seeing how things grew and evolved was what kept me flipping pages and wanting to make this one last but also see how everything turned out.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this book, and while I’ve loved the whole series, this book might just overtake Jenner & Jo’s story as being my favorite! Camden was just so amazing, and I loved how his character changed and how all in he was! If you are only going to pick up one book in this series, this one should be it! Again, I highly recommend all of them, but The Bachelor was fantastic! I can’t wait for the Hooked series coming up from Marni Mann, you get a small peek here at some of the characters and I am so excited to get more!

Ahhh, I've been waiting for this book for months and was so excited to read it as an ARC.

I loved the chemistry between Oaklyn and Camden. They've known each other for years in a "sisters best friend" kind of way. I feel like this made their relationship so much more special. The way he folded for her and only her was just *swoon* and the amount of trust she placed in him...stunnin'.

Oaklyn felt so real in the issues she had in relationships and reading the progression of their relationship was absolutely wonderful. It definitely felt like a slow burn, which I normally hate, but this story felt very real and their development as characters progressed in a natural way.

It was overall worth the wait and I enjoyed it so much. Especially the ending was just so incredible.

A promise kept for years, but when the girl you crushed on propositions you to take her virginity and teach her how to please a man, that promise goes out of the window. Oaklyn asks Camden if shes in the same place this time next year, will he do it? As much as he does try to keep his promise to his twin sister that he wont touch her best friend, he falls hard. The bachelor meets his match, Oaklyn shows no emotion - a condition he had. No feelings. 5 spicy lessons is all he would give her. The spice was hot. Marni gave us temptation and desire by the bucket loads. Camden was an experienced lover but took his time and showed restraint with Oaklyn. I loved every lesson for a different reason. I think my favourite part was with Macon and him, him realising his feelings. From that part onwards I swooned hard! HEA and no 3rd act break up, this was a fun, fast paced read. Its my first from The Dalton family series (they can be read as standalones) but I did already have a couple of the others on my kindle TBR. Consider them bumped up!! Id def recommend this, was a loved 5 star read.

Quick Summary: A hot and bothered, forbidden romance

My Review: The Bachelor by Marni Mann was quite something. It was insanely charged. Explosive, really. In fact, it was a super scorcher, as far as love stories go. The fireworks between the two leads were off the charts.

About the Book: Camden and Oakland have known each other for years. They have always been aware of each other. They have always been attracted to each other. Unfortunately, they have never been at liberty to pursue one another. There was an unspoken understanding that prevented twin and BFF from going there. What will happen when the sizzle between the two burns bright enough to ignite a flame?

About the Dilemma: After two decades plus of holding on to her V-card, Oakland elects to proposition Camden. She wants him to have her firsts. Although Cam is game, he has some stipulations he needs Oakland to adhere to before the games can begin. What will happen when they throw caution to the wind and just go for it?

My Final Say: This book gets a "this is for grown folks" rating. It's fire! Mature readers are sure to need an extinguisher while reading this story. The author did not play in this romance.

I love this series so much. I loved Camden's story. Oakland was just perfect. Camden is the unattainable bad boy or is he. The spice was awesome and the romance was so good.
