Cute, simple, and full of bugs! I think this is a great way to introduce how weddings can work, some stuff about gender-fluidity, and a great title in our onward march to seeing humans in these roles on our children’s literature.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a wedding picture book. I'm not really sure who the target audience is for this one. Wedding planning can get crazy. But this book shows it in its seriousness and its silliness. Not sure this would hold up to re-reading. And not sure that sending this to friends planning a wedding would work out the way I'd wish. But pretty good.

Hilarious and adorable, this story handily makes the point that weddings are about the two (or more, shoutout to polyamory) people who love each other and nothing whatever about their gender(s).

Worm loves worm, and the rest is just stuff. Too bad on the "this is how we've always done things" premise.

Cute sentiment behind this one for a traditional wedding. Today many weddings are very different than tradition and the one for the worms is no different! Love is love!

Worm and worm just want to get married, because they love each other, but everyone keeps insisting on STUFF. Cake, and veil, and dancing, and best beetle— will they ever get to just be married and celebrate?
