Short and refreshing! And still, you know, Stephen King.

This novella had so many twist and turns. I assumed one thing and bam I was wrong and it was totally different. Sai King and Richard Chizmar are two of the greatest writers(in my opinion). Anyone who reads this novella should understand that it is a novella, and not a novel or a short story collection(as of now).

This was a fun short read. Gwendy's Button Box was entertaining. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a excellent job. Now on to Gwendy's Magic Feather

I discovered that this book existed, and that it was short…and easily devoured it in one sitting. It has a somewhat “cheesy” premise (regarding the button box itself), and because of this I was expecting a plot twist that never happened, but you really just have to take things as they are at face value with this one. You could argue the plot is lacking, but I personally enjoyed reading it so much that I had to give it 5 stars. This was a fun, quick adventure that I would recommend to others who don’t expect more than what it is.

A tidy novella that is very recognisable as a standard King story. Many familiar themes, and doesn't do anything ground breaking. Maybe I'd have enjoyed it more as part of a collection?
