This is a fun read with a real deal second chance romance.

I love the brother’s best friend trope because there is always so much angst and pent up feelings. Mia makes such a great fmc. I loved her vitality and her passion for her work. She has loved Ash since she was a teenager and the timing was never right. While she loved him, he loved someone else, who unfortunately didn’t love him in the end. There is a lot of baggage there.

This goes back and forth between current and glimpses into times in the past where the two kept connecting. And we see her true love for this man while never letting the fact that he wasn’t available turn her world upside down. The girl still makes sure to live for herself!

Maybe now is different. Maybe now is the time they work, unless the ghosts from the past come back and destroy everything.

Amelia or Mia as she goes by friends has a drive in the fashion industry. She wants to open her own boutiques and be famous. She also wants James, aka Ash since she was little. Her brother’s best friend. Ash however cannot get over his love for another girl. What a triangle. This was told in present and past tense throughout the book. There was a lot of heartache on Mia’s life throughout as she’s loved Ash and has known it wouldn’t go anywhere. At times you wanted to tell her, well you did say that was going to be the last time and it clearly wasn’t….. but this was a great story. It was a fast paced read that kept me entertained throughout. Great addition to the series.

I received this ARC through the publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing this book, opinions are my own.

I’ve loved every book and character in this series. Ash was never my favorite but I was so drawn into his story. Trying to figure out what would happen and to see if he would redeem himself. It wasn’t love from the get go but by the end he had redeemed himself and I was pleasantly surprised that my feelings for him had changed! Wonderful read!

Oh, ash and Mia, you both slay me. This was the perfect ending for Ash. He has always been a character that I wanted to see his ending. Highly recommended

Ash’s book was worth the wait! There is of course a lot of back and forth between the two characters. Fans of Linde’s would expect nothing less. I love the glimpses of past characters! Another beautifully written book!

The angst. The tension. The sheer emotion of this book. I could not put it down. Ash and Mia, while WILDLY frustrating at points, were the back and forth relationship we all have been in at one point or another, but also the couple that I found myself rooting for wholeheartedly. The pining from Amelia was heart breaking to the point where I could have actually shaken Ash if given the opportunity to. The slow burn fashion in which he finally opens his eyes and realizes what has been in front of him all along was very well and everyone loves a man that grovels and earns his right to be with her. The flashbacks and the POV that it is written from is very intuitive in giving us the depth in which Amelia's feelings really go. Best friends brother, want what you can't have will always be my Achilles heel. 4/5 stars.

The way K.A. Linde built up my anticipation for this book, bravo. As a Team Ash-but-not-for-Lila girl myself, I have been craving Ash’s HEA since Hold the Forevers and I was not disappointed. Ash and Amelia's story is a brother's best friend, friends to lovers romance woven over many years of pining, bad timing, an undeniable connection and chemistry. I love how this book took me on a rollercoaster ride of feelings. From angst and frustrations to tenderness and love. I couldn't get enough.

I admit, I was a little worried that it would feel like Amelia was second best to Lila. But K. A. Linde did a great job addressing this by putting distance and time between them. Allowing the friendship and the feelings to strengthen to the point where they were ready for each other.

I loved Amelia. I really liked that she put herself first when it came to Ash. After heartbreak after heartbreak, she focused on herself and her business and became an even stronger, more independent person.

As for Ash. I've always liked Ash. In all his forms. The sweet version. The cocky one. I even had a soft spot for the hurting, lashing out, drinking-too-much, asshole version of Ash. But the Wait for Always Ash…*swoon*...this Ash has my heart. He’s mature and understanding. There's a sweetness to him, when he's around Amelia. I really enjoyed seeing him step up for her. This book, more than any of the other Coastal Chronicles books, I wished we had duo pov’s. I would have loved to know what he was thinking/feeling.

Wait for Always was a well written book full of heart and growth. I loved it. I'm so glad these two got their HEA. They're so clearly perfect together. I hope we get more from this series, especially if it's Nolan and Marina.

I have been waiting for Ash’s story since Hold the Forevers!! I knew Kyla would make guy we loved to hate into the guy we love!!

Wait for Always is Ash’s side if his heartbreak and Amelia’s simultaneous journey of trying to get over him. He’s still the guy we want to smack a few times but you know the dude was devastated

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book from @wildfiremarketingsolutions. It is the first book I’ve read by @authorkalinde and I was not disappointed, now I really need to get to the ones of hers that have been on my tbr for ages.

💜 Brothers best friend
💜 Hot southern gentleman
💜 Right guy
💜 Wrong time
💜 Friends to lovers
💜 Fiesty female business owner

Ash and Amelia have known each other since they were children. Ash and Amelia’s brother Derek have been best friends all that time. They’ve loved each other for years, but the timing was never right. Ash was in love with someone else, and it took years for him to get past the other woman and realize that Amelia was the one for him.

Even though they all came from money, Amelia was a serious businesswoman who wanted to grow her boutique business. She designs the clothes that are sold in her boutique and spends every day in her shop not allowing someone else to do the work for her. She’s a strong woman who puts her heart and soul into everything she does.

I love strong female main characters. Too many are written to appear weak and less than the male main character. I love that K.A. Linde chose to make Amelia Ballentine strong and independent.

I can’t wait to read more books by K.A. Linde.
