This is not a good book. It is an okay book. But that is okay.

3.5 Got this as a birthday gift in May by a friend who knew I used to own most of the series and had enjoyed the first couple books of it I'd read. I have yet to dive back in to it, but this was a welcome refresher on the plot of the books!
I loved the art style, aside from just being gorgeous, I thought it did an awesome job of mirroring the tone and feeling of the book as I'd remembered it from my read-through a few years ago.
Not my favorite graphic novel, or even graphic novel adaptation of a book/series, but definitely enjoyable and made me want to get back into the original series!

Pretty good. I love the illustrations, but some of the text is tiny. The story line is also hard to follow so it works more as a companion piece than anything else. Still, I enjoyed it.

I hate cliffhangers, but I already know what happens because I read the Ya book.

I enjoyed the drawing style, but I do not think the artist made Shuyler, Mimi, or Jack "beautiful" (as I interpreted de la Cruz expected them to be) and agree with others that Mimi should have had much more style than the street-look that was used. That bothered me as this group of people are supposed to be "more" than standard.
