A first attempt at reading a graphic novel. Quite tolerable, and I'll give it another go.

Like previous omnibuses (omnibi?) some stories were good and some weren't as great. Most of these take place during Season 4, with the first one (Haunted) taking place immediately after Season 3. One of the stories (The Heart of a Slayer) is completely out of order, taking place in Season 5.

Haunted was pretty good - with Buffy dealing with the fallout of The Mayor and with Faith.

The Heart of a Slayer was pretty good, following an ancient slater through time.

Cemetery of Lost Love was interesting, including the voodoo god Baron Samedi.

I think all of these are probably just more interesting for fans of the series, though.

Pros:
- Jane Espenson! She knows the voices for the show so well, and it translated really well to the comics, which is always impressive.
- Faith! Enough said.
- Loved the story where flashbacks were done by a different artist!
- Good continuity with the show while still adding something to the story- I think this is especially nice having just finished a rewatch.

Cons:
- Overall not very good writing, a couple of them were truly awful
- Also not my favorite comic art, super basic
- Oof that Oz story at the end was ROUGH

This was another Buffy omnibus that perfectly kept the tone and style of the series. The artwork was also done well and the characters actually looked like their actors. Just 4 stars because having the last like 70 pages be about Oz's journey after Sunnydale bored me.
