My professor from uni taught us this book so literally and robotic kind of way that it left no impression on my brain.

i love blanche dubois a lot and contemplated giving this 3 stars, but i was very very disturbed by the portrayal of violence against women in this play. i think the good quality of the writing actually enhanced that. an unpleasant experience & a reminder why i try to not really read that many books by white str8 dudes, lmao.

Very tragic story that Williams does a great job writing about unflinchingly. Blanche's devastating monologue in Scene 6 is the centerpiece of an equally devastating story. Would've appreciated this one more if my English teacher hadn't constantly been telling me how much I should appreciate it.
