Bitten was an entertaining listen from start to finish. The romance does happen really fast, and instalove doesn't always work for me, but this is paranormal romance, and it's really hard not to be completely okay with a whole lotta instalove when you're listening to an engaging story performed by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross. The story is a quick listen, and it's really more steamy than erotic in my opinion. What I really like is that Nicole Garcia doesn't let the storyline fall short, which happens all too often in erotic romances. Bitten may be plenty steamy, but there's also some intrigue in there along with the threat of danger. This is the first in a series, but we get a satisfactory conclusion. There is a continuing storyline, and I'm interested to see where that goes as well as which one of Carissa's coven gets the next romance.
If you've never listened to an audiobook narrated by Kai and Wen, you don't know what you're missing. They do a phenomenal job, and it's not just dual POV, it's a total immersion in the story. In this case, it's a total immersion in Nicole Garcia's Bitten, and it all comes together for a sexy, fun romance with a bit of intrigue to ponder.

This was a beautiful story filled with love, hope, pain, and honesty. I really enjoyed listening to it. I loved the characters. I do wish that some of the other characters had more of a development and part in the story. I also wish that there was more drama, suspense and story. That's just the reader in me aching for a story though. If you are looking for a sexy and intense paranormal story, this one is a great one. I fully recommend it.
