Check trigger warnings before reading. This made me feel kinda dark after I finished it- it was such a wild ride.

Dark and disturbing but a good thriller.

3.5 stars? 4? My favourite Jewell so far! although I didn't really get a sense of who Libby was (and I wouldn't have minded more time with Dido). Strike/Robin vibes from the pairing of Libby/Miller (weirdly I just read two books back to back with prominent characters called Miller).
But c'mon now, adult Henry is creepy af, why would you even want a relationship with him? And Lucy knows he put a tracker on Libby's phone, wouldn't she say something about that?
I thought she actually did well with the ending here! but I'm nervous to see there's a sequel.

My major downfall was consuming this book in audio format. I spent the first half of the book incredibly confused with the POV and time jumping. Once I caught on and was able to follow, I was hooked.
The twists and turns leave your jaw on the floor! I had no idea what was happening and even when I thought I had it figured out…Something else happened!

While it was an interesting mystery that was somewhat quick to read, it was predictable. A fine book but not good enough to surpass 3 stars.
