One of my favorites of the series. There is still a lot of angst, but it smooths out a bit. I like how Amy works through her trauma with Spartan. I love that her and Lou start to bond and work together.

This is definitely a great book on building trust. Spartan hates Amy for taking him the night he got hurt. He thinks that if it wasn’t for Amy then he would have never been in the accident that took the life of her mom and in a sense almost took his life, too. It’s a truly beautiful story on coming home and building trust with these wonderful animals.

I read this series when I was younger, and even though I only read some of the series I do remember liking it. I was into reading horse books back then. Don't remember much but for young girls who like horses this is your series.
