This book was so good! This was the first book of Sarah J. Maas that I ever read and I would say that I wasn't disappointed.

I did have a little bit of problems with Feyre's character. Sometimes I wouldn't agree with her choices, but hey, that's why I would never survive in any YA universe.

I loved Tamlin and Lucien! Still gawking at them. *phew* Also, I'm still having second thoughts about Rhysand. He's definitely radiating that mysterious vibe off of him.

But I heard that the second book is better, so, looking forward to that!

I really enjoyed the world-building and the authors use of language generally. I enjoyed the often difficult relationship dynamics between the characters. Amaratha is the most EVIL character I've ever read and I love that the author didn't hold back from making her the most wretched being hahaha. I'm so curious as to why Rhys literally STUMBLED back when he looked at Feyre, what was up with that????
