Ondanks dat het plot in het begin een beetje te veel leek op een mix tussen Night Circus en Caraval kreeg het boek na een tijdje eindelijk zijn eigen stem en sfeer en werd het steeds interessanter. De plottwists volgen elkaar bijna constant op in de laatste 100 pagina's en houden het verhaal en vooral de spanning vers.

This was a cute audiobook. Honestly, I think I would enjoy reading it better than the audio, because I envisioned some characters to sound/behave differently in my mind. Although, there was nothing wrong with how it wa narrated, it was a really good and fun book!
