The Forgotten Garden was my first Kate Morton novel, but it definitely won't be my last. I loved how the story unfurled in three timelines and was amazed by how the author kept each of them distinct, yet related. The clues dropped along the way help the story's cohesion while keeping the reader engaged. Add in the sensory details of the garden and the Cornish coast and you have a winner. Read if you enjoy: Gothic novels, multiple timelines, female characters, English settings
