Despite this being super thin, this book had a great plot with some memorable characters, as well as some great background stories! Really enjoyed it, despite it being rather predictable.

This one is more like a Beauty and the Beast retelling. Mariel is sent to kill Cedric, being a warrior born from a harlot, but she can’t do it. She literally is standing over his bed while he sleeps and she can’t do it. Not to mention he had a lame leg and is the Lord of Darkness, which was and wasn’t surprising.

Betty remind me of the armoire in the movie. Sarah is just a bitch, plain and simple, scared or not.

Yula heals his leg and I’m exchange, she said when she calls on them to go to war, they will fight along side her which I think will be a common theme in the next two stories. I can only assume the sixth one is when they go to battle.

This is an exact Beauty & the Beast retelling, only the woman is a soldier of some sort. Out of the four Tales of the Enchanted Wildwood, Lord of the Castle is the best one in my opinion.

Also, smuts are in all the Tales

This one is the third installment in the series and it’s based around Beauty and the Beast. These are definitely addicting and such an easy read between books. They are mindless and fun reads! Don’t go in with high expectations! I don’t really take this series seriously, but it’s fun!

This was a unique, steamy take on Beauty and the Beat! Angela Ford always does such a beautiful job with her world building and this book was no exception. This was a bit shorter, more of a novella, but I still enjoyed the characters, the world and the story. Definitely ready to read more about the enchanted wildwood!

A shield-maiden whose calling is to protect those who can not protect themselves is tasked to be a killer. The monster she is commanded to kill is a lord beloved by his people. At the edge of the Enchanted Wildwood, things don't always follow the paths expected in the civilized world. The night of Sahmain is fast approaching and neither Murial nor Lord Cedric will escape it unchanged.

This story is reminiscent of Beauty and the Beast in a twisted, upside down, through the looking glass sort of way. There are elements from the traditional tale, such as the whispering spirits, the scarred Lord, and the vicious mob but not in the way they are traditionally used. A story of redemption and purpose in a broken world. There is romance and it does get steamy at the end.

This is the third book in the Enchanted Wildwood series. These are standalone books in a shared world. This book takes place after the first two books, and reading them adds depth to your understanding of the Wildwood, but this book can be enjoyed without reading the previous two and has a satisfying conclusion.
