If you think you've seen the movie, think again. No screen version sticks to the plot, or can possibly match the excitement and drama of this original. Stoker may have been a bit melodramatic, but he makes this plausible and enjoyable, and you will keep turning the pages to find out what happens to Mina Harker and her band of brave men. Brilliant!

This book was horrible to get through. The only characters who weren't infuriating were Mina and Quincey Morris - the latter didn't even get a point of view. There were some eloquent quotes and memorable parts but overall, it isn't a book I'd ever revisit, nor a book I'd like to spare another thought towards.

If it weren’t for me listening to this at 2x speed in audiobook, I fear this would’ve ended up DNFed.

Classics have such slow pacing, my brain cannot handle that.

I also could not stand the extreme glazing of the men in this story by the women… like stand UP.
After the 50% mark, things became more tolerable.

A classic I have overlooked for way too long! I wish I had read this years ago! A true literacy classic, a tale of
Superstition, the undead and the collective mess of amateurs planning a murder!
An original story that captivates any audience as we travel through the adoption of the idiosyncrasies that protect us from the vampires or Slovaks.
A page turner with the use of journal
Entries from the main characters makes this a highly recommendable and enjoyable
Read.
