Short and simplistic, but not bad, and good to hear his perspective. It's kind of a rehash of some of his other stuff though.

I love Barker's perspective of a once evangelical pastor who's now an atheist. It adds something different to the other New Atheist writers and is something that resonates strongly with me.

An excerpt:

Your life shall hang in doubt before you; night and day you shall be in dread, with no assurance of your life. (Deuteronomy 28:66)

This is not love. This is saying, "I'll be nice to you if you do exactly what I say, otherwise I will destroy you." That's what a kidnapper says to the victim, or what an abusive husband says to his wife.
