Overall,
I love Jaymin Eve and I have read pretty much everything she has ever written and will continue to do so. However, this was not my favorite of the Shadow Beast Shifters series. I liked getting to see the Fae world. I found myself skimming portions of the book. I think this is because while I understood the heroine and the reasons she did what she did, I just had a difficult time connecting with her. I loved that we got to see all of our old friends from other books and see what they were up to and watch them interact. The overall plot was in some ways disappointing, it just did not keep me as engaged as other books in the series have.

Recommendation,
I will always recommend this author to people and this series is one of my favorites from her. While Jaymin has said this is the last book in the series she did leave some threads open that could be pulled if she wants to.

The first half I loved, the second...kinda meh, sorry not sorry, but it could have been okay if it were like 100 pages shorter....
So no idea how to rate this.

Shocked!!

I did not see that coming. So I obviously had a feeling about the mate bond but Tabby and the whole Fae storyline I really didn’t didnt!! But it fits and makes so much sense. I love seeing everyone together. The kids are just adorable!! And as usual my love for shadowshine is untouchable. I’m gutted that this is very possibly the last book though I would love to hear Galleli’s story and Alistair’s storyline because I get the feeling there’s more to come from them.

We only knew Samantha from her short time in in the third installment of this marvelous series, who knew she would turn out to be a God like the rest of them. I loved how this series moved from world to world gave an insight on all of the characters, helped the, build and grow as people and watch the, change and become more powerful. The sacrifices and not to mention the baby gods. I love how everything came together like the previous editions before it. I do not believe this series is over by my count there are 2 more characters that need to find mates, there are still tainted worlds and tainted gods. Please let there be more. I cannot wait.

So sad it’s over

I have absolutely loved this series. Mera and Shadow’s story will live with me forever. I love that Jaymin gave us the rest of this series to include Angel and Reece, Simone and Lucien and finally Sam and Len. All of these standalone books were beautiful in their own way, and flowed with the series quite well. I loved Sam in the other books, so I was happy to learn a lot more about her. Len is such an amazing character, and I feel this book did them justice. I understand how it ended, but I would love to read more about this world.
