this was pretty fun to read given the fact that it all stems from a music video that i first watched when i was around 11. that being said, it’s not all that great. there are times when coley and sonya aren’t written very consistently and there are also times when dialogue keeps going in circles between them as if the main conflict of internalized homophobia has become something that can be fully encompassed by a few phrases. with the way it’s written it’s like the topic is worn out by the end. one of the main issues i had with this book was the amount of sentences taken straight from the internet. overall it was cool to read

this is a great book!! it really draws you in and you get really into the characters and the plot. you will be incredibly mad. you will be incredibly frustrated. and you will be incredibly sad, and happy, and other emotions. however it’s worth it. lovely book thankyou for recommending jenna i love you 🫶🫶
