SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)

Charlotte is dragged to an all boys academy by her father, who is the new headmaster. It’s part of a new program where they are trying to integrate girls into the school now. Only, she doesn’t want to be their guinea pig. So she insists on dressing as a boy and going by Chuck to hide herself from being the only boy there.

But as time goes on, she learns that this isn’t the first time the school has tried to start accepting girls as students. Only the first time around ended in tragedy.

As she tries to solve the mystery of what happened to the only other girl to have attended Adamson, she is growing closer to a group of guys that equally intrigue her and drive her crazy.

REVIEW:

This was so much fun! Such a wild ride. This author is a real story teller because I was absolutely glued to the pages.

Charlotte is a fun heroine. She’s sassy but also really fun and sweet. I adored her interactions with the guys and trying to hide in plain site.

Each of the guys are also surprisingly sweet. Sure they pick on her (as Chuck) a bit, but honestly they also bring her into the fold of their group and it’s kind of adorable.

I liked all the guys for different reasons. I love the twins and their strong bond and silly personalities. I love Ranger and his passion for his sister and loyalty to his friends (and his frilly aprons). I love Church and his stoic personality and (totally justified) caffeine addiction. But I think I love Spencer the most. I love that he senses a connection with Charlotte even while she’s disguised as Chuck. And I love that he’s willing to explore his attraction to her even though he’s always considered himself straight. It’s rather sweet and kind of romantic. He is genuinely attracted to HER and not just her looks. Gah! So much swoon!

The mystery of what happened to Ranger’s sister Jenica and who is after Charlotte is also really gripping and suspenseful! I’m here for it! I wanna know what’s going on and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

The only issue I noticed is that the entire premise isn’t really believable. If they were opening up enrollment to girls too, they wouldn’t just throw a single girl into an ocean of guys. There would be more then one girl enrolled. But it’s such a well written story that I’m overlooking that for the sake of enjoying the ride.

I’m also not sure if this is considered YA or NA? Right now they are juniors in high school and there is no sex, but definitely mentions of sexual things. It almost reads as YA, which would be a little disappointing if there doesn’t end up being any sex in the whole series. Still, it’s such a gripping story with awesome characters that I would read with or without sex. I definitely wouldn’t mind some sex though. lol

Overall excellent start to the series! The characters are awesome, they have great chemistry and fun banter, and there’s a solid plot that I can’t wait to see play out.

What in the ouran high school lol! I sacrificed my sleep to read this. Reminds me so much for my love for anime but still refreshing to read cross dressing n sneaking around in the book about your gender. Now I just need the paperback in my hands.

Addicting and binge-worthy, I'm so glad I picked up this series. I couldn't put this book down.
I'm so glad that she was the bully to them as well, so they had a reason to be mean to her and seriously... they weren't irredeemably bad to her as well. This is the way I like my bully romances, not... well any other way that this author has written them.

Well damn. Talk about cliffhanger. C.M. Stunich does not disappoint.

I was drawn in by this book because it is by Stunich and is compared to Rich Boys of Burberry Prep... Burberry even gets referenced a few times and it is awesome! There are actually a TON of other book references; including the mention of Tate James and the book Broken Wings. Both are worth checking out if you haven't already. ;)

Chuck is a girl in an all boy's school. The Student Council is made up of five very different but equally delicious boys who work to make her life miserable... which is her own fault since she doesn't want to give her secret away she is a royal jerk to their attempts at friendship. So while this is labeled as a bully romance, because they "bully" her, there is give and take. It also eases up and becomes something different by the end of the book.

It is a mystery/thriller. I think it adds depth to the connection the characters end up having in the end. It is also really frustrating because I feel as though there is a lot of missing pieces and information. But it is part of a trilogy so there is time to learn more. The Adam and Eve thing is cool... and creepy. It very much reminds me of Adam Decker's book Adam... which was also creepy but an incredible read.

This is a mellow RH and does not contain any adult sexual content.. at least not yet in the series. There are situations that are definitely not YA and some very clever humor in regards to sexuality.

I am looking forward to the rest of the series....

I’ll admit, Charlotte annoyed me a LOT at the beginning. She was just so rude to everyone for no reason. She claimed that it was to help hide her secret, but come on really? You don’t have to be a bitch to keep a secret, even one like that. In my opinion she was more of a bully instead of the boys. They just retaliated because of how mean she was. Charlotte did grow on me though, by the end. I still like all of the boys more than her though. The book was good! It’s pretty tame compared to C.M.’s other books; so if you’ve read the Hard-Rock Beautiful series, the Havoc Boys series, or even the Burberry Prep series then it’s not much like those.
