I was unfamiliar with Charles Lindbergh, let alone Anne. It is always Amelia Earhart we hear about nowadays.

It is always frustrating to read stories seeped in sexism that take place in the past where a wife, a licensed pilot navigating uncharted flight paths, would be touched and honored to be called "the crew" by her husband.

However you can't fault the book for accurately portraying the time period. It was fascinating insight to a piece of American history we no longer tell. His fame, how worshipped he was by the public, the media frenzy, and then his more negative traits - the ones the public knew about and the private ones at home.
