Think I still prefer a full on novel vs. a "bookshot" but it was a good read. Definitely perfect for when you want a story you don't have to invest time in like on a long drive ect. The characters were interesting and would definitely want to see what happens to the man she didn't choose.

Rating this purely from how much fun I had reading it. This was a quick, fun read that I enjoyed a lot and I'd recommend it for anyone who might not be super into romance but wants to dip their toes in the water.

I wasn't expecting this to be much as it was a quick read, mills and boons type romance. I have wanted to try one for a while, I have no idea why. I expected it to be lovey dovey and sex filled but there was a surprising amount of drama. As a man, I found myself in disagreement at some of the ways the author portrayed the males. For example that the bad boy, only messed around women because he was waiting for the right woman (the main character) to come along. That reasoning is why so many good hearted/natured guys get messed around. I know this is just fiction, but it happen all too often in real life. The sex scene I knew had to make an appearance did, but it wasn't a crude as I expected and didn't last as long as I'd expected either. Overall, this book wasn't awful, it did entertain, but it unfortunately made me worry about certain women's state of minds.
