This was quite the ride! I've never been interested in attending any of my reunions, let alone one like this one! Once again, it flowed effortlessly between past and present. That ending too...what?!?!!!
I loved that The Stanley was the inspiration for the hotel in this book! I made sure to take my copy of this book to CO on a recent visit!

What I like

*Story about excess emotional and psychological baggage from high school

*Easy to determine which timeline is being discussed because of the labels

*Plot twist that does not sound farfetched and can be experienced in the real world.

*Right pacing that won't make the reader sleepy or rushed.

What I Did Not Like

* The discussion about the past (high school years) sometimes made the story feel YA-ish.

I went in blind and was expecting a twisty, wild thriller like The Arrangement, this was much slower paced but im not complaining. I loved the alternating between present day and the past. I couldn’t put this one down.

Thank you, Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for my copy of the The Reunion Audiobook.
I loved the narrator - she did a great job. I couldn't wait to play this audiobook and finish to find out what happened!
Cait returns to her hometown for her high school reunion - due to her mother's health, Cait's husband was not able to attend. She can't keep the memories at bay - and the events of prom night.
She arrives early to get some peach to finish her latest novel. But there are so many distractions. Like running into "The Populars" - the clique of mean girls, who of course are still mean. And there is Sam - Cait's best friend, first love. They reconnect and spend time together.
Someone is stalking Cait - calling her phone, leaving messages. Who could possibly want to hurt Cait?
Great story capturing the emotions of returning home. I loved the dual narrative. Well done.

The ending was a little silly but the rest has me more or less entertained. Audiobook was well read!
