This is my my favorite version of Robin Hood. I prefer Pyle's version of Will Scarlett, but I love the Maid Marian Arch in this one.

I can tell Creswick was heavily influenced by Howard Pyle, but considering his is more or less the definitive version, I guess that checks out.
It was fine, a quick read. But not enough Marian to satisfy me, of course. But then, that rarely happens.

Fine if you’re six, but the author is possessed of a Stephanie Meyer-level inability to maintain tension.
