Just like the prequel and book 1, this story was fun and entertaining. I just didn’t love it as much as the first one.

One of the reasons was Jeremy, one of the main MCs. While he is a lovable and a fun character, he was at times a little too much for me and a bit annoying. I would've also liked if we got more depth in Adrian's characterisation.
The other reason is I'm really not a big fan of the miscommunications trope that leads to MCs (almost) breaking up. Especially when the miscommunication feels like it's forced for tension purposes when that could've been achieved by other means.

I'm still very much invested in this universe and can't wait to see what happens to the side characters.
