Ok, but seriously though. I'm a MESS over Cracks in the Armor. I am SO FUCKING SAD it's all done. I absolutely LOVED getting to know Sarah and Chris. I need MORE. WOW.
Their story is so real to me. H&T are major MAJOR, but their story is so tragic that it's takes hold and shakes the shit out of you. Chris and Sarah run deep on my soul. It's like reading about two very real people.
I would love a full novel with these two. No pressure, Ms Hunting ;-)

3 stars. It was really just to short for me. Plus I've already Clipped Wings and Inked Armor so, I feel I missed out on Chris and Sarah. You can see the full review here->Greyland Reviews

I enjoyed this novella, it was a nice, quick read. I thought it was a good edition to the series. I love Chris and Sarah together so much and there was a sweet moment mixed with a nice amount of heat. I wish there would have been more progression in their relationship but they both seem to have issues opening up.

This story is told from both theirs POV’s. We learn a little about each of their pasts and get a good sense about how they feel about one another. Sarah recounting things about Chris makes you know just what a sweet and great guy he is. There's a nice update about Tenley and Hayden that I really enjoyed as well.

Chris and Sarah are such great characters but I was left wanting more. Maybe it's because I’m desperate for them to have their happily ever after. This felt like an nice introduction to their own story and I hope they get one! I would love that.

The Clipped Wings series is a favorite, I love it so much and can't wait to see where it goes next!

I received a ARC copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review, all opinions are my own. Although I think that this series overall would be really good this was my first book of the series and it was not enough. I did check out Between the Cracks to try and figure out a little bit of the story line before starting however it was another half story and not really enough back story.

I think this is a good introduction to Chris a tattoo artist who is respectful and kind with a bit of edge. Sarah is a cocktail waitress at a strip club trying to pay off loans before beginning an internship to graduate. They are trying to navigate a relationship. I want to know more however with less than two chapters I couldn't get a sense of the storyline. I personally would wait till the full story comes out. This is best left as a teaser at the back of a book, not a stand alone or "half book".

I can't really review this one fairly hence the lack of stars. I read Clipped Wings, which was #1 in the series but when I requested this book from NetGalley, I didn't realize it was #2.5 and I haven't read #2 yet so I was lost for this story. Definitely not a stand alone and while I knew the characters, I missed out on a lot of story from the series and was lost and confused. Review withheld until I can read #2 and give this story the fair shot it deserves.

Again I was super disappointed!!! I started the book with a lot of questions and ended the book with even more questions. I hope there will be a REAL book about Chris and Sarah's story.

Besides the small fact that I wanted a more developed story I really enjoyed seeing Chris and Sarah alone but again there weren't many times where they were alone because they were always busy. I just want more of these two!!

It was really good seeing the other characters! I loved seeing THE HOUSE!!! It's so pretty eheh and Tenley's office :D

I just love this series as well all books by Helena Hunting, her style is unique and will grab you forever. Cracks in the Armour had me wanting to know more and more about Sarah and Chris. Definitely a must read.

This is a novella to follow up the first two books in the Clipped Wings series (which I did not read). While Clipped Wings focused on Hayden and Tenley, Cracks in the Armor focuses on the relationship between Chris and Sarah and seems to give a glimpse into the life of Hayden and Tenley. I liked the author's writing style and would be interested to read more about Chris and Sarah.
