Such a fun and mostly sweet mystery. I love Bonnie and her strength even after everything she's been through. I appreciate so much the discussion of trauma and therapy and love that she is embracing it and what her therapist says. The mystery( or really mysteries) had me absolutely stumped, which I loved! I love that Bonnie is really opening up to her feelings after so many years of emotional abuse. I just wish we got to spend a bit more time at the shop, but overall I really enjoyed!

Eyelet Witness” book 4 in the Bonnie & Clyde Mysteries by Julie Anne Lindsey. I love this series! Bonnie and Clyde play chicken with a killer in their zaniest adventure yet!

I loved this latest instalment in the Bonnie & Clyde series! I enjoyed getting to know Thelma and Luisa more as well as learn more about Meadowbrook. The mystery is well-written and plotted. There are several red herrings and twists to keep the reader engaged.

I’m anxiously awaiting book 5 in the series as fun things are sure to happen but even better i cant wait for book 1 in the spin off series!

I look forward to reading all the books in the series and highly recommend to all my cozy mystery loving friends.

I adore this author. She quickly became one of my favorite cozy mystery authors and she continues to grow and deliver wonderful stories with fantastic characters, charming settings, and mysteries the keep me engaged as a reader. Eyelet Witness is the 4th book in the Bonnie & Clyde Mysteries and continues the tradition of what readers have come to expect from this author. Bonnie is a wonderful character that readers will enjoy getting to know throughout the series. She is surrounded by a wonderful, strong cast of secondary characters, some of whom will get their own spin-off series. This time around, Bonnie is once again embroiled in another mystery, this one involving her new friend Louisa and her show chicken Thelma. When Thelma is kidnapped, Bonnie is determined to help find Thelma o that Louisa can continue making her delicious souffle's. Bonnie's romance with Sherrif Wright is also progressing nicely and I like that while he is protective and worries about Bonnie, he still appreciates her input while trying to minimize her involvement in his cases. There are several suspects and the reader must pay careful attention if they hold to solve the mystery before Bonnie.

This series is full of southern charm, wonderful characters, and a mystery that requires the reader to carefully follow the clues laid out before them. I have to say I was really surprised by the identity of the killer, this person was not on my radar. If you have not yet read this author, I highly recommend any of her books.

I voluntarily read a digital advanced reader copy provided to me by the author. The thoughts and opinions expressed are my own and were in no way impacted by the manner in which I received this book.

This was a fast read. I think it was alright but the mystery was not very interesting to me. I found the character relationships were more interesting than the mystery and the murder.

I have loved each book in Julie Anne Lindsey’s Bonnie & Clyde Mysteries and highly recommend them to everyone!!

Eyelet Witness is book four of the series and was a fun one. When Louisa’s ex turns up murdered and her hen goes missing, she teams up with Bonnie to help solve the mystery. I think my favorite characters from this book were the three women who stepped in to support Bonnie when her ex was being a bully. Well done, ladies. I’m also glad to see more of Louisa and Thelma and am so excited they will be getting their own cozy series!! (No Farm No Foul coming soon.) Looking forward to seeing more of Eli, too. There was also a lot of development with Bonnie and Mason that will warm your heart.

So, I know I keep saying this, but I LOVE this series! It just keeps getting better. I love that Julie is able to play with cozy mystery stereotypes and do things that are a little bit different while also being enjoyable. This book really sets up the spinoff series with Thelma and Louisa. There's also a different sort of mystery here - we have a murder, of course. Louisa Eggers, Bonnie Balfour's new friend and chicken farmer, used to date a man named Ben while living on her off-the-grid cottagecore farm. Ben turns up dead, but then Thelma, Louisa's prize chicken, goes missing too. We have the murder, but we also have a missing chicken. Did the same person do both crimes, or do we have separate criminals on the loose? In this one, I guessed what was going on, but the intrigue and motive behind it all is super-fascinating. Louisa is becoming a sleuth in her own right, and I'm excited to see where the next Bonnie book goes as well as Louisa's own series.

I loved this fourth return to Bliss, Georgia.
This installment might be my favorite so far.
Amateur sleuth Bonnie Balfour has no intentions of keeping herself away from a mystery. She is spunky and relatable, faults and all.
Thelma and Louisa are a fantastic new duo and the peek into the cottagcore lifestyle was a nice touch.
Also, swoon worthy sheriff Mason Wright just keeps worming his way deeper into my heart!
The more this series continues, the more the characters develop and you really feel invested in them!
Can't wait for the next book!
