A ton of fun and leads into Revenge of the Sith quite well. It details the slow decline of democracy in Coruscant and makes the lead in to ROTS seem much more natural. Plus you get a ton of General Grievous who I always love.

I read this nearly 20 years ago and it was a fun re-read.

This book was very close to being 2 stars. The beginning of the book is boring and awkwardly verbose.

The last third of the book saved it though. The action was exciting, and though I didn't like the way it ended with a to be concluded, though I understand why it did.
