This book was amazing! It is an 1800’s romance though, so there is not a lot of diversity. And it’s very much so a slow burn. There’s no smut but a lot of fluff and it was so cute!! I can’t wait to read more by Megan Walker!

Well this was lovely!
When I started reading, I wasn't certain I would like the hero of the story (Charlie). He seemed to be too rough and inconsiderate, but along with Rosalind, I soon changed my tune! Rosalind, her best friend Liza, and Charlie set out to complete Rosalind's list of ten things she wants to do before her upcoming wedding to the Duke. I loved watching Rosalind and Charlie's friendship blossom and slowly become something more. Rosalind must keep her feelings in check, though, because her family is counting on her connection to the Duke.
There are quite a few moments where I found myself smiling while reading and even let a few giggles escape! Rosalind and Charlie have a fun, easy, and realistic way about them that help put me in the story. I also really love how everything comes together in the end. A lovely, easy-to-read, clean regency romance!

Rosalind Newbury is engaged to the Duke of Marlow who she has met twice. As a girl, Rosalind, made up her secret “10 Things to do Before She Marries”. She now has less than two weeks to accomplish her personal list. On her first item—learn to swim—she nearly drowns and is rescued by her cousin, Charlie. With the help of her of her best friend, Lisa, and Charlie, decides to complete the list. While working together to complete the list, Ros and Charlie are falling in love. With time slipping away, they must decide how much their families will suffer from their decision and how much it matters to them.
This is a cozy, comfortable romance for the period when the protagonists discover their mutual attraction. In 1820, the Regency Period is coming to an end and some of the societal customs are changing particularly as it relates to cultural events. This period results to the conditions of certain people such as women changing. This is a period exemplified by George IV and Queen Caroline’s commitment to art, drama, and style. The author placed a light-hearted set of characters in a changing period for society and we get a fun story as a back up for a historical romance. Recommend as a fun change of pace.

I absolutely loved Megan Walker’s last novel, so I really wanted to get my hands on this one—and it did not disappoint!!! I loved each of the characters, and the story was really fun and interesting (think checking off a bucket list, but during the Regency era. Fun, right?) If you are looking for a clean, easy romance read, this is the book for you!
