This my first time reading anything by Alexis Daria and I loved this book! I loved the characters, Stone and Gina. These two become partners on the competition dance show called The Dance Off. Stone knows nothing about dancing and Gina is a pro who teaches him. Slowly their relationship shifts and new feelings start to bloom. It was so fun reading this. The story really felt like I was watching this competition and I was on the edge of my seat every time they danced. It was so easy to visualize the story and the dancing and just feel it come to life. Now that I've read this I want to dive into some of the author's other books!

Thanks to Netgalley for providing a copy of this in exchange for an honest review.

As a fan of Dancing With the Stars, and reality TV in general, this was a highly entertaining read for me! I felt like I was getting a personal scoop on all the things happening "behind the scenes"

If you like shows like Dancing with the starts and wish it was a romance novel then this is the book for you. I loved Gina and Sloane. Gina is the dancer and her celebrity guest and duo partner is Sloane. I personally love books that have a dance element to it. I don’t get to read them very often, so this was a very nice change of pace into my current to be read pile. Definitely recommend giving it a read!

I have not watched DWTS but I thoroughly enjoyed this story about a pro-dancer whose new partner is a reality tv survivalist. The from-two-different-worlds trope was done perfectly!

Read this if you like: Dancing with the Stars, reality TV, behind the scenes, opposites attract

CW's: manipulation, familial pressure
