A part of a trilogy that is a bit slow. Irene learned her late husband had a mistress and a child on St John. She moves there as does her grown sons. Her family is very tangled with the former mistresses family.

I found this book an improvement on the last, storytelling wise, but I don't know. I enjoy the story enough to finish out when the third book comes out next month, but there aren't many characters I like. It's intriguing enough, but I'm glad it's not very long.
