It’s a good story but there was something about the writing that didn’t sit well with me-sentences we’re very choppy. I didn’t like much of the middle but really enjoyed the main character’s time in Jamaica and would have loved to learn more about her search for her mother. I guess just not my cup of tea. Loved the musical elements.
