I truly do love this series. It’s just so much fun, lighthearted, cute with a murder mystery.
This time we leave the beautiful seaside town of Portmage & head just outside to a stately mansion.
And just like a game of Cluedo, there’s an eclectic group of ppl thrown together for the weekend to make friends and form bonds, but then .. dum dum dummmmm There’s a murder and of course, Morgana is right in the thick of it.
This is another brilliantly written and witty story. I love Morgana, but really enjoyed getting to see the softer, fun, flirty and playful side to DS Tristan Treharne. It had me smiling pretty much every time those 2 interacted.
I was nervous to leave Portmage because it is such a beautiful & mystical setting, but this *chef’s kiss* love it! Everything I wanted and so much more.
I can’t wait to dive into book 4.
I want this made into a tv series. I would be it’s number one fan.
