Well written memoir of a Puerto Rican diabetic girl who made it to the Supreme Court. The book covers hard topics with grace and humor. I love the message that with hard work and help from friends almost anything is possible.

I'm glad Justice Sotomayor is on our SC. We need her, especially in today's times and especially without RBG. We need a voice of reason. I didn't really know much about her until reading this book. I'm a fan now. I was before, and I'm even more so now. She's got a real sweet heart, a lot of compassion, and a lot of grit. As Margaret Atwood said, "Nolite te bastardes carborundorum!"
