A solid three and a half from me. It was all good and interesting information but it came across as… preachy at times? Many ideas and information from other authors (many of whom I had read) rehashed into one book. Good, but sadly not great.

I appreciate his perspective, although I did pushback a bit. Overall it prompted consideration and discussion with friends, which is always a sign that a non-fiction has done its job.

I'm not entirely sure how to rate this book. There were many parts I enjoyed, yet, I got to a point where I just wanted to finish the book and even put it down for awhile I read something else. I had high hopes for this book, and unfortunately it fell flat several times for me. The concept is good, but there was just something missing and I can't quite put my finger on it.

This was great. Rather than focusing on the hows of minimalism, this focuses on the why. How do I determine what matters most to me and get rid of or minimize things that detract from that?
