Kind of like a Disney story, but with sex.

An interesting start, but derailed into this weird May-December romance.

Not to say such things do not work -- obviously people of all ages and culture and gender could get together and have amazing relationships -- but I cannot deal with a man nearly 60 behaving like a teenaged boy around another innocent *cough cough ignorant* Mary Sue.

Surprisingly moving... sometimes, I'm a bit of a softy, but I forget.

I found the stylized prose lovely, and the two main characters are adorable, literally.Looking forward to seeing how it compares to the rest of the series.

Weird pacing. I'll probably read the next one, but it's far from my favorite of hers, despite the extensive exploration of culture clash.
