2nd re-listen. I think I'm going to lower my rating to 4 stars.
Too many characters, too many things happening and little focus on Rafael and Jackson.

I've actually listened to the audiobook, but I'm not gonna hunt down GR to add the version! Seriously, the audio was released in mid April and it's almost November...
Anyways.... excellent narration by Nick J. Russo and I loved visiting the Warders universe and especially Rafael and Jackson!!!
Mary threw quite the twists and turns here, and remembering back to where the 5th and 6th book left us, kinda came out left field but that doesn't mean it made the story line any less enjoyable.
Now... I'm left wondering if that was the end of the series because everything was left a bit open in terms of HEA of the overreaching plot -the couples are well and truly established and nailed down, so no worries there- but maybe the job of a Warder never ends...? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
