4.5 stars! I liked how they delved into the relationship between Sophie and her Dad after all of the mysteriousness surrounding him in the first book. The forbidden love aspect of this book was also phenomenal, it really reminded me of Romeo and Juliet and it's a pretty rare trope to see in contemporary literature. The cliffhanger ending was shocking, I hadn't expected this all to happen even with the foreshadowing throughout. I can't wait to read the next books in the series.
