Look, when I tell you I bawled, I mean I BAWLED. This is just the most precious, beautiful message. Seriously, read it.

This was such a sweet book. Would gift it to a young person or even a friend as a pick-me-up.

Dear Girl is a letter from a mom to her daughter, encouraging her girl to be strong, brave, and adventuresome. It's a light book, even funny at times, yet it's poignant, too, made all the more poignant when one learns that the author, Amy Krouse Rosenthal, wrote it with her own daughter, Paris Rosenthal, before she died of cancer.

Oh yes. This is wonderful. I wish it'd been around when I was a little girl.

Every single little girl needs this book NOW! A terrific, uplifting letter filled with wishes and dreams, hope and hugs. “Most of all, dear girl who I love, know that you can always always always … turn to me.”

It was a delightful surprise to find another book by my sweet friend AKR. I look forward to what else her daughter creates.
