While this one is great, it was less about the body farm and more about cases that Dr. Bill Bass worked on. It was interesting, but it wasn’t what I exactly thought it would be.

This book kept me engaged and intrigued, and regenerated my love for all things anatomy.
I also love true crime, so it was cool that this book held that, as well.
I did find the author to be a bit self-centered and prideful at times, but it didn't get too much in the way of the story and writing.
Overall worth a read!

Not especially engaging. Reads like a list of facts.

I've been a forensics fan for decades, before all the CSI stuff became popular on TV. This book gives some background on the development and use of various forensic techniques to real-life crime investigations. It is well written and some of the stories are quite interesting. It was a quick read and has whetted my appetite to start reading the fiction series by this team, under the pen name "Jefferson Bass".
