Definitely for a pretty young audience but still enjoyable as an adult. It always bothers me when stories center around a detective and the solution doesn't really require detective work cause the characters just stumble upon what they need and/or someone just explains it all. The resolution here was also kind of strange and out of left field.

So, much like my 5-minute read of the Hardy Boys, I was impressed with this book. It was less bad than I expected, much better than Goddess Girls, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to readers. It's not great literature, not going to be memorable and amazing, but really not bad. It makes me wonder if the same ghost writer writes for both series...I guess I'll never know!

Det fanns lite oklarheter i den här. Vad hände till exempel med den försvunna personens cykel? Inte någon topp-bok i serien men ganska mysig ändå.

Because of the similarities of personal experience, I didn't catch on to what was really going on. That made the mystery all the more suspenseful. Of the series so far, it's my favorite. It's the right balance of character driven plot, remote location, isolation, and dangerous weather.
