2019: I think this should have been titled Everyone Moves to the Forest.

3.5! I liked it. Ties everything up into a neat little bow. Quippy, funny.

I decided to pick this up because I was going to see a live performance of it at Shakespeare's Globe in London this past October, and I hadn't read it in years. I meant to read it before the performance, but because I am often quite a slow reader, I didn't finish it until now.
Unfortunately, like the performance I saw at the Globe, this was somewhat underwhelming, and not as vibrant as I remembered. For me, it doesn't quite stand up to other Shakespearean comedies like Much Ado About Nothing and Twelfth Night. Still, though, there are of course wonderful and even iconic moments throughout, including my favorite, a (maybe slightly saccharine and melodramatic but still much-beloved by me) line that comes back to me often:
ROSALIND: Now tell me how long you would have her after you have possessed her.
ORLANDO: Forever and a day.
